Uh,

angle is towards the rear dummy!

But obviously they knew what they were doing, the motorcycle manufacturers were the only thing holding them back from crushing the future of Twoskis!:D

I gotta give you credit, you are passionate about those birds.

Ever stop to think that a lot more people on SnoWest wouldn't hate you as much if you took a chill pill and didn't bash twoskis and hijack any thread you can? Maybe you don't realize it, but IMO you're the one giving the hawks and the other hawkers on here a bad name...

It's not that I hate hawks or have anything against them... I'd love to take one out for a day or two and see how it runs. But at the same time, have to realize it's not for everyone... it's like the Mac-vs-PC arguments. Each has their pros and cons, I use a 'doze machine at work and a Mac at home... used to be with Macs like you are with hawks... then I grew up.

blah... two cents. </post>

used machines are geting scarce! get em if you can find em!!!
for those who cant find one, i feel very sad for you!! missing out on an experance of a life time! ive got mine now, and i will never sell it!! ever!!!!!!!!

bring it!

wow wat can I say tony. your one snowhawk addicted/dedicated gnarly dude. the hawk has so much going for it, it makes me sick they have not taken off and been like bam, watz up now. I'm all for it, wat ever it takes lets get it done. I'll demo the hawk anytime. I rode my buddy's 600ho hawk last year for like a half hour and was like gnarly bro I want one. selling my sled to get a hawk is wat im doing now. his hawk is the only one I have seen in da big horns. now he's getting a new one and hasn't rode his 07 polaris 600 snowmobile since. he has a blast on his hawk. so im doing wat ever it takes to get a hawk this season. so lets bring it on I say, see me ride a hawk and you'll want one to is wat I say! its like why ride a 4wheeler (turtles as we call em ) when my dirt bike goes more places and is just plain gnarly! it only makes sense I guess. so those wit 2 skied 4wheelers can follow me. I have only rode one for a half hour and im so hooked its sick! I'll stick wit and get it down, I learn fast that's why im selling my sled. soon the big horns will have hawks flying free! free the hawk I say! so tony (snowhawkaddict) keep up the gnarly work and tear it up bro maybe we'll see ya around. cause i tink you'll see me around on the hawk forum. hope I can help! bring it! later

oh big time!

thanks. ya im stoked you could say! just the twist throttle is all it took. wanted to put it on my sled at one time. im going to haydays to sell my sled and maybe find a hawk if all works out. later

Oh to have a Time machine!

uote

I bought into the Snow hawk idea back in 2001 because it made sense, less power, less weight, same performance, if not more.

It should be obvious to most of you that I and others have created the interest, and increased the demand. Not to many used/new machines around anymore that are not in clenched hands.

The limited effort I am willing to putt towards this needs to increase and I think those of you current owners, and future wanters should pipe up and speak your minds.

There are about 1,500 of these machines out in this world and a hand full for sale, you one thousand plus need to get off your *** and yell your head off.

If you don’t your kids will be dumbed down with a legacy of the backwards tech created by a bunch of worn out "snowmobile design engineer" Boomers long since moved away to places like Arizona, and Florida shuffling around their Corvette’s and Harley’s.

End and edited quote!

I truly believe that had we grown this forum to what it is back in about say 2004, we would all be arguing which ArticCat, BRP, Polaris, Yamaha, KTM, Kawasaki, Suzuki, etc. "brand of Snow Hawk like" machine is best.

The noise on here you all are generating with all the ideas and anticipation has to be a little more interesting then all the politics and multi placed classifieds smothering the TWOPLANKERS!

The ultimate answer to the "two" new topics both titled Snow Hawk Questions.

First Time I rode a hawk was in Cooke. all my buddies were worried that I would hold the group up. They had just recieved 3 ft of fresh. I myself was a little worried, I had never ridden one of these but was fascinated by the moto look, I had raced motocross for years. I had done many nationals, as was a pretty confident rider. I went up to pick the steed up that morning. The lady said I could bring it back if it wasn't my cup of tea. she said not to many people could get the hang of it and just opted for the half day. I told her my back ground, and had no intentions on bringing it back. So we went out side and fired it up. The twist throttle and the foot pegs were a welcome sight. I was ancy to open it up and see just what this thing was about. I hopped on and gave it some throttle and then more and more. Pretty soon I'm ripping down the road and go to turn in were everyone was wating for me. Low and behold this thing doesn't turn or stop. I go to put my leg out and was fearfull it might get ripped off. Eventually I stop and turn with a lot of body english. I'm thinking, what have I got myself into. I play the poker face and we head on down the trail. It was kind of like riding a missle with no way to turn it. Everyone comes to a stop and is wondering wich direction to go. I said I was going to go over in that powder area and see what happens. I jump the 5ft bank and land in the powder. I get on it and turn, the thing is on rails. I start laughing and hitting stuff harder and harder. The bars are dragging in the snow around corners. I felt like I could do no wrong. so I pop back out on the trail and there just watching me. I'm thinking you guys are screwed. I will do stuff on this machine That you can't even imagine. So we finally make it out into a play area. I have the machine wide open. it carves, It jump's. It boondocks through the woods I would not even considered before. There only one problem with this machine. No one else has got one. I was ready to explore places that were unatainable on a tripod. I was pretty sure my days on a sled were over. I decided to let some of my friends try it out. They couldn't ride it for ****. I couldn't belive it. It had come so easy for me. I thought maybe they were trying to hard. what ever the reason, they weren't willing to give it another shot. Well I finished out the day on it. I ran out of gas twice. Thank you tri podders. And showed that group of people what a snow hawk could do in skilled hands. I no longer have to hear how the snowhawk won't work. Now I'm in the market for one and seem's like they have all dried up. When they first came out they were giving them away. Now I feel like i will have to pay more for one than I would have 4 years ago. Well I'm ready to bite the bullit. I Just got to sell the tri pod.

Our forum has grown so much and has so many redundant questions by all these newbies, searching the archives has become a full time chore.
