Snow conditions in Encampment

Has anyone been riding the Encampment side? If so how is the snow? Hopefully getting deeper. Will be out there on Jan 2 for a week.

The snow was good on sunday but the visibility was not so it was like it was sleeting on us Lol i did manage to turn my amber lenses back to clear ones though. We Were hoping to go back down Tommorow (tuesday) and ride thats how good it was.

We went 3 days before Christmas and I needed a snorkel it was so deep in the trees. Great snow and lots of it!

WE just got back from the encampment area we rode the sierra madres and the snowies. the sierras were decent but have a long way to go, and the snowies just plain sucked.
