Snow blower on a ATV/side by side?

I was driving on a country road today and I saw an ATV with a snow blower attached to the front of it, blowing snow on this persons driveway. (This was a first for me.) Do any of you have one of these for an ATV, or a side by side?
If so, how would you rate them?

Was very close to doing that about 5 years ago.
About $10k for the unit I was looking at.
Knowing that I'd never get even half of my investment back out of it, I opted for a JD 1023 with a loader, front mount blower and rear blade for around $16K.
No regrets. After paying it off traded up to a 2032 and happy with this setup.
Can do so much more than my side by sides ever could.
Okay, maybe one regret......a cab would be sweet.

Hey thanks. I have a 2012 sportsman 500 and I was just curious how something like that would work. :)

I looked at units with an engine mounted on it = very heavy out front.
I would have went with hydraulic driven, with an engine & pump unit that you put in the rear.

A friend of mine has had one for a few years. Doesn't like it, its for sale. Getting a plow for his truck instead.
It works ok for the nice fluffy snow. Wet or wind blown snow, not so well. Not heavy enough to cut thru.

My dad lives in Idaho and has a driveway that is 3/10ths of a mile long. He used to plow with his pickup but that was real hard on equipment. He now has a snow hogg on his quad. 2 trips up and down the hill and he is all but done. It doesn't scrape down to the gravel like a blade will, but he is super happy with it.

Had to fix up some chains and a pseudo cab though plus the hot grips.

If you want a big boy snow blower and are physically able....skip all the junky ATV/UTV plow and blower stuff and just buy a Honda HSS1332. Costs about the same, but performs and stands up MUCH better. If it's too big of a job to do with that blower, it's too big to do with anything mounted on an ATV/UTV in my honest opinion. Then you need to look at pick up plow, or something for a tractor/bobcat.
