Snow Bike riding area Southern Alberta

Which area do you think is the most popular for snow biking? I didn't say the best, I said most popular.

Short answer; anywhere there is enough snow to ride (legally). Most of the good riding areas have been closed off on the Eastern slopes of the Rockies, so I just get creative.

last season I only saw 2 other TS and it was at McBride.

Always more out there then you think. I know Even in fairly small areas I never see other snowbike groups, always hiding in the woods!

Bikes have been seen in the West Castle/Carbondale area. Could be just a rumor though.

I've had some good days there. Not last year though as there was basically no snow. Its a fun area for biking.

That's what I thought, I'm assuming it will run like Maclean and the SRD. They stuck it to the logging industry in the last go round, excellent timing with oil prices in the basement. Idiots.
