snow anywhere oct 20th?

if a MN guy was to be out there oct 18-20th and has the possibilty to bring his prototype snowbike would there be any snow anywhere to get some video footage? I know its a long shot but just throwing it out there?

Yes there will be snow somewhere. You will have to wait until right before to determine if its rideable. If the temps go down we could have 15 feet by then with all this rain

We got the sleds on the snow on Oct 14th last year. Horrible idea, but was enough for a snow bike. Got out Oct 26th last year too and there was enough snow for both ~18". I have high hopes this year is gonna start out way better than the past 2 years!

I have ridden on Oct. 9th before but most years the first ride is around Halloween +/- a few days.

IF , the moisture pattern holds and the temps drop drastically. We had 26" of snow the other day at around 13000' but no way to even ride there. It's sad but true, but we will have an Indian Summer and it looks like it might be in late October. If the temps had been at 20° we would be riding already. The last month at hunting camp we have seen closer to 8" of rain since September. Keep your fingers crossed.
