Snobunje...who else swears by these things?

Whenever I see a guy with a snobunjie on his sled..... I run. I thought guys over 70 used them exclusively?

LMAO... you only hate them 'cause you and Gravy are usually on the end of them... proof positive in the vid. I always forget; which one of you is the fatty?

Here's what I did to get the best of both models in one...
Got the longer sled to sled SnoBunje Cobra, and bought a billet aluminum pull start handle that has a hole through which one end of the Cobra can connect, thereby converting it to a hand pull when needed.
It has saved me and others a lot of physical exertion!

Don't leave home without it.

I always have one wrapped around my riser. Makes it possible for me to get my wife's Phazer unstuck. First year riding I thought they were kind of goofy, until I went out with the guys and got an education. I don't think I have ever taken my shovel out of my pack.

Wow, I usually don't have open fields to use the long bungee in.
We spend most of our time in the trees.
They work great. You can literally pull a sled uphill with one.

(yep, this was a BIG hole)

Not only do they work great, they are also entertaining (as seen in goodtogo's vid).:D I love to pull a guy out that has never seen one before. Get it hooked up and tell him to HOLD ON TIGHT!!!

Last spring when the snow was getting soft, my 74 year old riding partner[ I'm 69] and I were flagged down by a young fellow stuck in a creek bank. The sled was up to the windshield and he was up to his shoulders when he got off. We finally got a rope to him and told him to tie it to a spindle. He kept saying it will never work, it will never work and the rope will break and kill me. I told him to get on it and get on the throttle when it moves. When I hit the throttle it jerked the sled out from under him and left him in the snow up to his neck. We about had to hook the bunje on him. He was so excited, he asked me at least 20 times where he could buy one. We have 3 of them and don't go without them.

Those are great vids. I have the hand held and and love it but have never used the big tow type version. One question.....is that how you're supposed to pulls someone out with those things is from an angle like that. If that's the case the dude stuck or "Pullee" better educate himself on which side of his sled to stand on prior to the big tug. Talk about your messed up knees or broken legs.

I use mine a lot! I think my Daughter's two favorite hobbies are texting and getting stuck. Like she always says though, "If you ain't stuck, you ain't riding"

One good tug and it usually pulls her right out though.

I prefer the hand held version. You can't always get a sled in where someone is stuck. With the hand held version you can always use a tow rope with it to make it into a sled to sled bunje.

Its easy to use an old pull start handle with the long version to get the same functionality as the shorter one.

First time using one I was on the receiving end with a Dragon pulling me, about yanked my arms off cause I was not expecting it to work so incredibly well LOL. Its always a good laugh when I newbie gets yanked out like in vids.
