SNEAK PEAK...TIMBERSLED MOUNTAIN-TAMER PRO RMK REAR SUSPENSION CONVERSION KIT.

TTT.

I am planning on doing timbersled skid this year on a Silber turbo pro. My question is will the rear arm kit be enough to keep the skies on the ground or should I just get the full tamer kit ?? I'm more conserned with climbing ability then boondocking but it would be nice to improve both areas.

I think it's pretty comical that people are questioning the durability and ride quality on the stock skid when the first sleds are just showing up at dealerships and it hasn't even started snowing yet.

After a year on the Pro I can say, without a DOUBT, that the stock suspension was the biggest disappointment for me BY FAR and that Timbersled hit the nail on the head with this statement: "We have found that the stock skid can be bottomed at will on a ruff trail and will be a problem in the future for its durability." There were plenty of demos prior to the season last year for everyone to figure this out as accurate info!

Have FUN!

Talked with Allen this afternoon, this is available with all the new features of the 2012 rear arm.

If you want to run factory PRO RMK rails... this is the only option.

On a smaller budget, you will get the added rigidity and adjustability with coupling that the Tiimbersled Mountain Tamer has become known for.

Compared to the complete Mtn. Tamer... The rear arm kit will not have the same level of coupling ability for the all out turbo climber.

For those that have last seasons kit that have PM'd me... unfortunately the previous rear shock will not work with new adjustable rear arm and therefore you would need to purchase the complete rear arm kit with shock to upgrade to the 2012 configuration.

According to Allen, this is a solid option for those that want more control and better ride quality with their PRO.

Thanks MH. I talked to timbersled and Kmod today, both were great to talk to. But I think I am leaning toward the timbersled rear arm only as I already have a 13 3/4" front replacement float I intend to install. Should give me the best of both worlds for the price.
