Snake Creek parking conditions

Depends on this new snow but it won't be very long before you can't get there from guardsman w/o riding over some large sections of dirt/rocks.

Closed? I am not aware of any gates up that canyon road, The snow must be to far gone to get access up above?
Yep.
Gate is right at the forest sign. about 1 mile up from the parking lot.
Is there any way to get around that gate?

There is no gate and contrary to your thinking you don't own Snake Creek. We were just looking for a way to dry fork so don't worry we won't be taking any of your snow because everyone knows your sled isn't making it to dry fork with more than 6" of new
You meet so many amazing people that will do anything for a fellow sledder regardless of circumstances but you still have to realize there are small minded morons like BossRev
There is no gate and Snake Creek is still fine for access to the Wasatch. I hereby invite all to to track it up ever day before Boss rides
As for the great people on here that would give anything to help a friend or someone asking a simple question keep up the good work. Sledding is a ton of fun but great people make it that much better

Listen up A$$ WIPE, there is a gate. So FAwk YOU Douche BAG!! And first and foremost I never said it was closed. Freak did D!ckNose! I simple said yep. And Second ,the gate is right where I said it was right after the forrest sign,, THey close it every year to keep the 4x4's out in early season. So FAWK YOU! you stupid mindless douche bag. Ya I agree, if you have ever seen Andrew I doubt the physical threat would not have been made. It's just lame that people have to mislead and lie to guys that want to sled. We haven't even rode through snake creek this year because we always go through tibble. I actually drove up there yesterday and there is no gate closed. And we still would be going through tibble but there is actually a gate that is closed and even blocked of to snowmobiles and atv's right now. Come on, it's spring snow conditions. It's not like there is epic powder that you don't want people to go track out. We don't even remotely ride the same as you guys and the only thing you might see from us in your riding areas are 4-6 tracks going through on their way to dry fork, then Marry Ellens to climb some chutes.

There is a gate! It is right at the turn off to Brighton. Its currently half closed and will likely be closed all the way in a few weeks to keep dipsticks in their big 4x4s from going up in the mud.

Ill third or fourth the motion. There is a gate right where they are talking about! Might be a little more than a mile but its there. I dont know why you clowns would want to come on this side anyways and ride the bunnyhills! Dont be attacking BOSS he is always way more than helpful for ALL sledders!

Alright. Man enough to admit when I am wrong but more apologetic for starting this rash of stupidity with people making threats. This started by a guy sending me a pm at night saying there was no gate and that Boss and Freak like to think it is their personal playgound and that they lie to everyone to keep them out. I should have let that go but we were honestly looking for info and someone didn't tell the truth to keep us away from public land.
Freak said its closed and that there is a gate and Boss says yes it is closed. There is a gate but it is still burried from what I was told and it definately isn't closed as was verified yesterday. What was said was not the truth.
As for saying Boss is a lying douche and all the other crap I said that was my bad and I apologize. As for the personal threats I will not fan that flame any further and just hope that most of us could grow out of that in high school... Boss if you want to talk about it I pmd you my phone #. I should not have called you out and I apologize that but personal threats are another thing altogether
