slp pipe on 09 m-8, Whos running it?

Im glad to hear everyone who ran SLP pipe has had luck with it. Ive Had SLP exhasut on every sled ive owned and always had good luck with them

Cuzzin, John Dee's 09 ran awesome. Both out in Tog, and in da yoop. No box on his. He has the pipe,can, vforce reeds, and airbox. The thing just rips.:beer;

He ran it the whole kit in the yoop? Are the airbox and reeds needed? I think I'd be fine without them.

All I did was drop a couple of grams with the Dalton adjustables. I'm not home now to check exactly what I dropped. But I think it was about two grams. No other changes needed. Runs flawless!:face-icon-small-ton:D
Remember clutch maintenance is crucial. I take my clutches apart after every weekend of riding.
I love to do mods to my sleds. But this thing runs wicked. Nothing else needed. Wanted yes! Needed no! :face-icon-small-ton

Good to hear Evil, Let me know when you get a chance what weights you ended up with. What elevation are you riding? Ill be from 6 to 11,000

Yep, ran the whole kit in the yoop. There was only one time where he had an issue, the detonation code was flashing, but he figured out it was crappy premium that he got from one of the gas stations up by him. Another guy he rides with got the SLP pipe and can, but did not do the airbox or reeds. I rode both, John's felt like it kept the low end torque, while the other one kind of felt like it lost some performance on the low end. They never lined them up or anything like that, but, you could feel it in the seat of the pants that John's was better. If you are looking to get every bit of performance, then do the reeds and airbox I guess.

a fuel box is not needed above 3,000ft, but if you wanted one there "might" be a little more power to be had if you where a good tuner, but clutching will be key before that.
