SLP Pipe Kit

I'm looking for some input and experience from those of you that are running the kit (single pipe, y pipe, and can) on an 09 M8 without a control box. I plan on ordering the kit and would like to know what you noticed after installing the kit. So just from the performance aspect, let me know what your thoughts are on the kit. Thanks.

I had that kit on my 09 M8, and I loved it. I had no problems running it without a BD box. Once you get the clutching dialed in you should be ready to go. Its well worth the money for that sled.

Same as said above. It works great without any additional fuel at elevation. Very crisp, no bogs, nice sound, not too loud, but it has authority. Clutch for your elevation. Seems to run best at 8000-8100rpm. I never did ride my sled with the stock setup, so I can't say as to the difference from stock.

Thanks guys. It sounds like you can run the slp hi flow intake and v force reeds along with the pipe kit and still be safe without a bd box. However, that may be pushin it for me. I dont think I can afford the box this year but would like to get one eventually. I ll probably start with the slp pipe kit and go from there. I have ridden the 2010 M8 and they definately run better than the 09. Just need that little bit extra.... then a little more............and some more.... and to turbo and beyond

Anybody else get a chance to do any actual comparison. M8 Stock vs M8 w/SLP Pipe Kit? Thanks again keep the reviews coming until I feel guilty for not buying it. lol.
