are the PCv's from slp working good? Only mods to my sled are slp can and some minor clutching

If you are running the latest Polaris flash you will want Jim's tuning not SLP's. It will run fine just fat on top end!
I'm running SLP's with the original flash and mine is spot on. I'm at 3 to 7 thou. ft. I've got their single with the y-pipe and can also high flow, been turning 8200 r's consistantly. Clutching is SLP blue/pink with 68.5g. Heavy Hitters(Thanks Monte), Team tied 75.57.46 with red/blue
Seriously considering a PCV for next season. On my 09 I am running SLP single at 3000-5500', with original 2010 update flash. Question, who's map is better or preferred, Jim's or SLP's.
SLP's map works best with the original 2010 map from what they told me. And it works! I'm running your exact alt and pipe...best money I've spent on this sled. By far.

Found a shop in Vancouver that is blowing PCV's out at a great price. Problem being that they probably do not come with any MAPS. Will have to check this out this Sat when I get back fom PV Mex. How about the add on feature of the switch for trying two MAPS out at the same time? I have subcribed to Dynotech Jim. I think I can get one of his MAP's no problem , but what about getting one from SLP to try as well?
Gerrman,
Same exact boat as you, have PCV on order from the same vendor in Van. it sounds like. I had SLP e-mail me their map a couple days ago so I will send it to you.
Cheers.
Fraser street yep, you got it
They had to bring it in but 6-10 days to me from date of order. They use Canada Post too. I'm hoping to have it for the 26th weekend so I can try it out. I too have the original flash done with the piston update (was done in Dec 09) and my sled has been working VERY good. I waffled on the PCV because it was working so well but I am now convinced there may be more benefit. The SLP map richens the mid and leans the top which is what I believe it needs.
Hopefully I get it in time and can test it next weekend and report back.
Have noticed the same on mine, runs good in colder weather worse in warmer conditions.Put a PCV on this winter and love it, added a switch to prove to myself that it works (switched between stock and mod map) and got an extra 100 rpm's on top, about 8250 to 8300. With the warmer weather I want to come up with something that works and add that as the second map then on warm days just flip the switch.
