Slippery Seats??

This may sound kind of dumb, and I know the real solution to the problem ( a Boss Seat), but it's in next months budget (hopefully). So in the mean time, is there any solution (low cost without destroying the seat) to sliding off the seat on my 07 M8? That thing is terrible.

Spray adhesive? If you don't care about possibly ruining your seat just spray some on...I'm sure it would be stickier...

Kick pads? Thats probably not the technical term; but the rolls of rubber stuff that's sticky on the backside for sticking to (truck) running boards and what not...

I don't know if either of those would work...just brainstorming...

Skinz seat cover...

A Skinz seat cover is much better then the stocker - less money then a new seat. But, if you are putting a Boss seat on it in the future, save your money for the new seat...

2010 ac seat, has the same material from the back of the old seats all the way to the front.

Stand up, problem solved! I agree about cleaning the seat cover, and vinyl polish or cleaner can make seats really slippery. Clean it and try again. (duct tape left in the sun for 6 weeks and then peel it off, you'll never slide again!)

It's not my a** that's sliding off, but my knees. Doesn't help that the top of the seat is rounded. I did wipe it down with alcohol, will see if it helps.

Maybe instead of trying to make your seat stickier you could make you knees stickier. Wouldn't be to hard to get some sort of rough material or something stuck or sewed onto your pants....

Interesting concept, but I don't think I want to do that to a nice set of Klim bibs.

Not sure which year but it must be 08 m-series sled that went to the different seat material.

They started using the stickier material of the back half of the older seats on the whole seat 08-09 i believe. Got a take off from a newer sled for my buddys 06 and its way better.

But it still sucks how low they are. Feels like i'm sitting on the gas tank on those sleds...
