Oh yeah...

I just have to say....Hobbes, your Stacey just blew me away! When she told me how new to riding she was, I was worried she would just hate the rides...then I seen her ride! I kept thinking, nooo way is she brand new to this!

She did awesome out there....now that you got her hooked, she'll be a force to be reckoned with, just look out!

Rob...thank ya for the support! Glad I added a little "spice" to the ride.....

When nothings broken, and no ones hurt...all of the ridings good...it was fun, next time I'll race ya for a steak & a beer!
The encouragement and support from all of you guys (gals too) out there is just the reason I love going so much and trying new stuff! I'd do it all again tomorrow...if it weren't for the drive!

uhum....

I never saw it Kev, are you guys just blown' smoke? The only thing I remember from that hill is using absolutely everyone's straps, bungies, caribiners and shoe laces to pull Scotty up the last 100 feet or so! Now, there's something I will never forget! Nice to have Big John around when you need that kind of horse power!

I wish Josh would have got that on film!

El Presidente's "State of Afton" Speech .............

My "Steamed" Team Talkers, let me be perfectly frank, this year's Afton Trip is to be summed up in one word...........GLORIOUS!

I cannot believe that we were blessed with the kind of weather we experienced, Blue Bird Sunshine after evenings of snow showers, it was just HEAVEN! 20 exceptional friends and no-one got hurt, nor violated the "riding" rules and all made it home in one piece, (I can't say that about the "mornings after" tho!) hahahahahaha

I have said this to my closest aquaitenaces in private, and will say it here publicly, I have always felt that a man's true worth can be measured by the amount of people he can truely call "FRIENDS", it is my deepest honor to say that I feel "RICH" by being able to call all of you that I was able to spend time with this past weekend as Friends!

Jeeper & Stacey - I cannot express my pride in knowing you both. All I can say is, you are welcome always, call me anytime if ever you are in your hour of need, and I am there! Jeep's.... let me say this, don't you fret none mister, I am like Goose to your Maverik, I am your wingman, trust me.

Alna & Stacey - We miss you both aleady! ALna, you best be thinkin about a "jewelery store" in your future that has "2 Strokes" as a special!! hahahahaha, oh, and another thing, you keep that "Money Grubbin #hore" away from the dice! hehehehehe

Matty & Bomber - You are two of the most genuine, warm, funny peeps I have ever met, i get a fuzzy feeling in mah belly just thinkin of you 2! hahahahaha

Fire Don & Kerry, you fellers are shirely boyz to "ride the river with" I sincerely enjoyed your company!

Alan & Tammy - FINALLY we get to ride!! WOW! Another facet of our already wondefull friendship, Jo & I are so happy to spend time with you both, it will be much to long before we do it again!

Shawn & Robin - I hope the miles you both put on this past weekend did not hurt you much, because your company and friendship are very dear to us. We so wanted you to relax and spend Sunday night with us, but understand the miles needed to be put behind you! We look forward the the "Next Best Time"!

Josh & that thar Re-Todd feller - Hope you did not mind hangin out with us "old Fogey's" cause we shirely felt content with you at our backs. Your attentativeness and expertise in the mountains is a very comforting thing.

Justin & Shawn - damn you guys are a hard act to follow!!

Kevan & Darcy - I hope you boyz got some good medical coverages that entails Therapy for "Bar Games" cuz that dang Beer Pong is gonna HURT YA!!! All I can say is that Beels MOST certainly held up the reputation for our wonderfull northern brothers the Canucks! OMFG!!!! Kevco ...... My regards on the most excellent decisions you made when I gave you rein to be our trail leader, You'll do fine Sonny!

Ralphie & Randall - Thank you for again taking our crew under your wing and keeping us straight in your back yard. Ralph, you are a true "westerner", I will always feel priveledged to call you, my friend.

Slut - you need to get in shape partner if you are gonna hang with this 'ol man and his posse! Hope yer riblets get healed quick, there is snow in them thar mtns !

To everyone that was there. I look forward to Afton every year and have never been dissapointed with the people or the rides we have experienced. This was my second trip and I had a great time with everyone. It was great seeing the people from last year and meeting some really great new people this year. I will try to post some pics I have and can't wait for next year. Slim & snojo thanks from the bottom of my heart, everything was spectacular as always. Beels I always have a great time when your around a great dude from up north ehh! Kevin no super launch this year but I will always remember last years, you better practice up on Beer pong so Beels & I will have a challenge next year. Shawn that orange Kat was awsome I can't believe the **** you went up that cat can clim a wall.Tell the wife that the Chuck Norris drink was tasty but it KICKED a lot of our asses the next morning. It's really hard coming back after such a great time with great people. Also a shout out to all the guides and to our group from Washington who has let me experience this epic time with great people and area to ride.
