(got two actual threads with thousands of looks plus) I couldn't find a single post upon our return that noted the actual true results. SLim shady posted some random drunken Old English Shakespearian ramble that might have been related but it was impossible to tell. Ralphy posted the only comment that even remotely hit on it. "I admit the RMK 860 was faster", was about the net except that was followed by some what if's concerning the racing layout and conditions.
Oh well, while I was piloting and it was quite a "distance" to be related in "lengths" and who was whooping who...it felt, looked (I had time to look back...NOT sideways... BACK...WAY BACK!), and WAS plus 10 full 12ft sled lengths every time. We can't trust your opinion because you were on "sleeping pills and cafeine laced excedrine"!

Hell Ralphy, I didn't even watch ONE of those races so I can't even comment. The only way I knew anything happened is cause you came over afterwards and talked to me about it.

No, I want to fight about this a little more. So with my 240lb azz on the Poo and Ralphy at whatever bird weight he calls mens sizes on the Doo, I was getting beat by 2-3 sled lengths??? Wow, maybe I'm the one with blinders on. Ralphy, I was pretty sure we traded paint every time. Sometimes I won, sometimes you won, I'd call it a draw. Can you chime in and tell me where the 2-3 sled lengths you beat me every time came from? I don't want to fight about this stoopit crap anymore than you guys do, but lets at least stick to the facts. I KNOW I won more than one race up that stupid little hill we used as a race format, now somebody tell me where the 2-3 lengths I was getting beat by came from.

OMG! Were there not over 20 probably closer to 30 people parked sitting in that giant open flat area watching the great 860 re-challenge? 2 or 3 lengths in 2000 ft is not a conclusive victory! IT WAS A FRICKING SLED RACING MILE! IT WAS OBVIOUS AND ABSOLUTELY UN-ARGUABLY CONCLUSIVE. The RMK 860 from Carl's was the king over not one but TWO doo 860'S. Pretty fair deal two since all three had the same track length and all three jockeys weigh in at similar MASSES. Ralph's maybe got bigger stones but my "CRANK" makes up the weight! Dave? Well he don't like to argue so he's no fun. As they say on ESPN ..."come on"! Enough time has now passed that the truth has FOGGED the minds of the defeated! That's OK since WE the victorious and CHAMPIONS of the WORLD have clear and concise memory of the actual results. Of course I can't remember what day it is or what I did yesterday but I do remember this CRAP!
Jim's not a very good money manager. I'd have filmed that event and extorted funds from both Carl's and BJ. One to see it and one not too! Of course I would never sign off on it or participate in their BS UNION as I'm still protesting THunderstruck for my lack of credits in TS 3.5 (the single best movie ever "it one all kinds of awards") WHO THE PLUCK IS THE UNKNOWN RIDER...SLIM THAT there IS BS!
Now that "racing" for which SLIM with his limited memory capacity is quoting...a fricking 50 yard long pounded off camber grade with about fourteen different paths none of which were equal. With all Doo respect El Presidente, I call BS on them thar results. Like Al stated(and Rob verified), the 860's were trading paint all the way up that "hill". Rarely was there ever a clear winner. And to be honest, on the flats; 3 lengths would be a conservative call.
Them yeller glass really Doo a job on a guy's perspective!

As far as anything else goes, I call it like I see it, always have, always will!! And when we raced up that POS hill I won as many times as anyone else and easily outweighed everyone by a good 60 lbs! Ralph, you are the only guy I trust that wears yellow undies, tell me I'm lying!

WOW! Boyzzzz!!! Since you all obviously had the "i'm racing and winning" tunnel vision, let someone who was actually watching tell you how it was in the racing of the 860cc engine size snow buggies.
I didn't see ANYONE beat the Carl's 860 in all the races we watched! Period! Sometimes the win was by only 2 sled lengths, sometimes it was by more......but the Carl's 860 was clearly and inarguably the champion on the hill in the 860 cc category!!!
