....we will be losing more and more access. What can we do? Seriously.

I donate money and join clubs and I sign petitions. What else is there that a guy can do? I live in an area where it's not possible to attend meetings. Two reasons, I work, for one. Most meetings here are held during the day and more often than not, scheduled at the last minute. By design, I think. This is an attempt to keep the people opposed to land closures away. It's a sneaky and underhanded thing, but since when have liberal environmentalist groups been ethical? Second, is the remote area I reside in. While it's the area I live in that is affected, the meeting are held in the Cities or towns far away, so running down after work isn't an option either.

I've been to one meeting during the day & a couple in the evening.

I think going to the meetings is a huge thing, they can't claim nobody opposed if dozens of people show up.

Any time you hear of one, get the word out, on here, on spaceface, wherever.

Not sure what else other than donating to BRC, and joining clubs we can do.

Liberals are everywhere. They are in the neighborhood you live in, the work place, etc. I worry about the mountains and ability to move freely through them all the time. I had a very interesting situation in my own neighborhood with a very annoying dressed up hippy a couple weeks ago. My son was building a small mound out of dirt (12" high) to jump his bike on. It was in a dried up retention pond area that is about 2 acres in size-in the neighborhood. This guy I mention was walking by and yelled at him to get out of there and clean up his mess. The mess was the mounded dirt. I ran out and confronted and after about 5 minutes of some good common sense one sided conversation. I asked him why he thinks its better to have him out of there and who is he to say. He said kids don't need to be there, they can play in the street and he said he's on the board for the neighborhood so he can say these things to people. More common sense from me to him and I invited myself to the next board meeting.

The control and power and entitlement is imprinted in them.
