Sled recovery?????? help

Snatch Block and tackle, 300-500 feet of rope. Tie the snatchblock off to a tree, hook up rope to down sled and tie off to a running sled. Running sled goes downhill while towing sled up hill. Make sure downhill rider gets stopped before a knot goes thru the snatch block, makes for a very impressive rider launch if he doesn't get a STOP signal.

Wire tie small trees in place of the track. Tobaggons??

Or, two sleds tow down sled out. Many ways to skin this cat. Requires lotsa beverage, steak and lobster, and new belts for the towing sleds.

Or just call Gravy for the Heli, it keeps friends

This is the best way to get out a sled. I towed my M1000 out of bear paw this way. 2000 feet of good rope a small strap and small block.
Run the rope out, bury a sled (if no trees) hook the strap and block to the stuck sled, run the rope through the block and tie to the tow sled. Pull down hill.
Broken sled will goes up as the pull sled goes down. This works great and is way faster than a winch.
If it is not to steep or deep, get two sleds. Tie a rope(50 feet or so)to one tow sleds back bumper, through the broken sleds front bumper. Let the rope move free through the bumper. Tie the other end to the other tow sleds bumper. Pull with two sleds. The two sleds work together, and keep a steady pull on the broken sled.
Hope this makes sense. good luck
