Sled prices, in Norway

Well, you guys crack me up complaining on the new prices...I agree they are WAY to high even for you guys, but when you see these prices, you will know that atleast you can afford to buy a sled and still have money left for fuel....Your sled prices affect ours in every way, so please do all you can to keep them down...

wow sorry to hear that i guess we shouldn't complain . but why so much is there a tax what makes them so much higher there?

25% tax on everything we bring into the country, plus around 5-6 grand in licence fee, and only one company is importing sleds and selling to dealers, so we have 2 more middle men making money on us...it sucks....

We can't even get plates on the sleds if we import them ourselves, and if we get stopped without plates, there might be as much as a 5000 dollar fee, plus you have to pay the price it costs to put plates on it even though you don't get the plates...

Wow that's a crazy amount of money after a sled is used does it depreciate much or does the value stay right up there?

falls around 30% first year...15-20 next year...then 5-10 each year after that....

and...the fuel is twice the price Americans pay....

And...we're only allowed to ride trails....

I don't even know why we bother aymore...

well..with the exhange rate we had last summer, we almost made $100 an hour....But now it's more like $50...LOL
