Sled Hi Lift Jack

One thing with my jack, I did end up using an emery cloth on the pole to take down the edges that develop after alot of use. Trust me, I use mine quite a bit. The highjacker is expensive, but like anything else, you get what you pay for.

When it comes to backcountry gear, you should never skip on quality.

I agree after a good year of getting stuck you might want to use some emery cloth on the pole to take some of the edges off. It is usually not a need though, unless you are like me and use yours 5-6 times a day. I've had mine for 2 years and my uncle has had his for 4 years and his used to be on a 136. I have noticed that they work best if you bring them in where it is above freezing at night.

I always carry two jacks....keep them attached at the shoulder ;)

The guy in the pic broke his and Skibreeze brought in the original for the save.

Yeah I 'm not much of a planner....just show up and ride.

I'm lucky if I get invited along!

go with the high jacker. I have had my first one for 7 years now with no problems at all. Bought a another one two years ago for my son.
My buddy bought the other guys jack and it broke second time out. They sent him the up graded one and guess what. It also broke

get the highjacker. do you really want to go cheap on this try to save a hundred bucks and have the thing snap in half while your sled is buried in a 4 foot hole?? Powder jack is chinsy pos. i have been using my highjacker for over a year the thing is tough and have not strained my back once!
