Sup All, I am in the market for a jack just wanted to get some feedback on some of the better ones on the market. I do a bit of riding with the wife and was thinking that a jack would be a good thing to have along with us. Ok look forward to getting some feedback.

Thanks

how have you liked it?

I don't have one, but I guy at work brought his in. Very well built, and the base can double as a shovel. My old 2000 700 136" RMK was a trench monster that would have benefited from one of these. I found with the newer sleds with longer tracks, I can just pull the sled over sideways and drive them out of most situations.

I have an original Highjacker.

Wild Bill is the man!

It will make riding with the wife FUN again, also with the youngsters, your back will love you!

Pay Dirt,

After three back operations last year, I decided if I wanted to continue enjoying the sport, a jack was a necessity. Another option available is http://www.powderjack.com. (This is where the discussions begin!):cheer2:

Not sure what you are riding but either way you go, mounting the jack to the XP is a challenge in creativeness. There are a couple of threads here that offer some options. Good luck.

Logger, how is the snow down your way?

Chaos

I have been thinking about buying one of these systems for a couple of years as I have had surgury what they called a diskectomy.I have been dependant on friends to help me get unstuck.

Well this year I have gone to a boosted Apex and may find myself in places my friends cannot get to or if they can may create avalanche danger.

My question is,does this contraption get in the way while riding?
Has anyone mounted one on a Apex?
Are they tough enough to lift out an Apex multible times?
It looks like if you get a warp in the shaft you may have problems mounting on the sled.
Is the shaft hollow?
Is it durable for years of use?

Thanks in advance.

I'm referring to wild bill's jack, it is built better than the powder jack. You can see the difference when side by side.
