?Lake Kachess campground to Cooper Lake route?

I would love to know the route from the the 1000 trails/kachess campground to other side of the upper kachess lake......that connects to Cooper Lake!

Anyone know the way?100E0125.jpg

3 of us know the way..... If you get to the cross over area it looks like there are several ways to go.... don't be fooled. All but one of those paths will lead to certain injury or death.

I wouldn't try it unless you are comfortable with tight tree riding and several direction changes

Graveler will be posted at the trailhead collecting fees from all the work we did last year to get the trail ready.

maybe for a couple of free nights we could show you the way!!!! fordmans right there is only one way, all others will get you killed!!!!

Fordmans right. Fordmans right. Yea

Is there only one way that you have tried? Who died?

If you actually rode more you would know alot more about the local riding zones. Instead you talk about the stuff many have known about for years like you discovered it.....then you take pics like you found a new planet. Good on ya.

Thanks for the entertainment. Who knows maybe in a few weeks you will do something new like talk about a lack of snow in November and say we are all doomed. That would be so cool.

That's funny stuff right there!

I can understand your passion for misery since you live in Preston....

The passage was opened in 1996. Until then, you could only do it by water skipping.

me thinks that the passage that was open in 96 is now in need of a tune up do to the fact that trees still grow up there!

Man now that the NB has a casino and a stripmall/outlet stores how could you resist the allure of living there.

Agreed... Moving to Preston might be in the cards now.

I see a disturbing trend here...

All threads are turning into pizzing matches now.
Can't we all just return to being sledders with common interests?

Koombyaahh :D

We REALLY need some snow.

It was in 96 that the route opened up F&G are talking of.

The rest of that is just stories--but some work if you do make the wrong turn. It was along time ago since I have been in that way--need to do it agian. Started that way last year but ened up finding some other new riding back that way on a deep snow day and ended up using all the fuel (sled and myself) before we got back to that split--but found some new riding area that was sweet--and that day--un ridden.

Areas Less Ridden--right F&G

H20SKE...;)

I forgot to mention the two hours of shoveling that you'll be doing to even make it over there....Nasty washout to cross. I have a picture of me and MOB from the KTM ride we did last year somewhere...... We couldn't even make it over the washout in the bikes. Once you are able to get to the lake... it's a maze just trying to navagate the stream and find the log crossing to get to the Cooper trail. All areas less ridden....
