sks ice scratchers

Mine was more of a problem of moving them to the inside. I had now wheels in the way of mounting the scratchers but in the way of hanging them up on the rail. If I moved mine to the inside the wheel would rub on the drive lugs. If I ran mountains all the time I would just remove that set of wheels. However, I have to take trails and plowed roads too much to feel comfortable removing wheels. On my pro I added the wheels and ran scratchers. So that is how I ended up with the Dura-Flex. Nothing is in the way.

Yeah that's the exact reason why I'm getting these adapters so can run stock type with more pressure than the cables and the wheels and nothing will hit or rub. Will post pics tomorrow when it's done

SKS scratchers

This is what I did for ice scratchers on my SKS. I used Ski Doo scratchers and made these aluminum brackets for them to rest on when not in use.The wheels stay in the factory locations.

After cutting and shaping them I sandblasted them so that they look like the A-arms.

Ice Stors on skis

Ha anyone thought about mounting the ice storms on the inside edge of the skis? Would this not through snow dust under the entire track? Just a thought. I was wondering if anyone has tried it?

So this is wheels and scratchers:) and I'm super happy having both and not having cables hanging all the time

Did you have to drill the rails for the bolt to fit thru the adapter for the wheel. I have my adapters and it looks like you have to. Did you have any issues at all

thanks

I don't remember but might had to take it hair bigger to clear new bolt for the adapter think it's 3/8 grade 8 they send with em

Thanks for the reply. Just looked at it and it has to be drilled out to 3/8. Any issues with adapters once mounted .
