I'm thinking about buying an 18 or 19' sks 146 for an around home/backup mountain sled. I have a 163" for the mountains. Anyone fill me in on the differences between the 146 and 155 SKS? Is it just the track and shorter tunnel or are there other differences as well? Thanks,
Bill

I think they have a lot of differences. Different rear suspension, different bar setup, different running boards.

I believe it is really close the 144 switchback assault with the rmk 2018 front end.

I have a 2017 144 switchback assault with the 2" track I use for a mountain back up and sled for mid-west area. (also have a 163 with turbo for primary mountain sled).
I put a Z-broz 39" front end on it and it dose great on and off the trail, if the snow is really deep it struggles of course but really is an over achiever.
The funnest sled I have rode for sure.
The shocks really work good from the factory, way better than the Rmk clickers.

Thanks for the feedback, your sled is the exact thing I'm looking for. I dont ride around home, unless we get really dumped on. But that is partly because my main sled is a turbo 163 as well.

Lots different!!!!!

INDY tank,seat,console,fenders,switches,clutch belt,torsion suspension, brakes,spindles, overstructure,

Same ??? Maybe Gauge and lights. Hood is but has brake cooler . Sticker on hood for sure . Bumper is !

Here in Michigan they call them Long Track and sell the snot out of it !!

SKS is the same machine with a narrow RMK front !

I love that there is a 144 Indy (Assault Switchback) but it's not a 50/50 more like 75/25. It is a hot trail sled just not a good choice for 50/50 compared to a 155" SKS , Assault RMK or the Khaos !
