Whats the better ski... Simmons or SLP Powder Pros?

I want to upgrade skis on my 06 RMK 700 159. I do alot of side hilling and boondocking. Only trail riding I do is to get to where I want to ride.
Whats the good and bad for both?

Thanks in advance

You're running the same chassis as me ('06 900 RMK) as well as doing similar riding and I can tell you from experience that you don't want Simmons skis on that sled. I could barely turn the bars on mine with Simmons on it. I went with Sly Dog Powder Hounds and absolutely love them. Much easier steering, great in the powder, and over two pounds in weight reduction vs. the Simmons.

go with the powder pros... i could barely turn my sled in the deep with the stock skis. when i switched over it was night and day difference. they kind of suck on the trail though... alot of darting.

hey guys,
Slydog powder hounds are a good trail ski and powder ski, but they are not good for sidehilling. the stock dragon ski's are good but the powder pro's are better.

I don't know if you run Powder Hounds on a 900 RMK, but I definitely disagree with you on the sidehilling comments. My '06 900 can easily hold a sidehill until I run out of hill. I'll say it again, the Sly Dog's work very well on the 05-06 IQ chassis. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

After reading some posts in this thread, I thinks Simmon's aren';t even in the contest anymore. Its between Powder Pro's and SlyDog's.
Both have similar footprints and are close in price. I'll keep reading everyones opinions and performance stories and see. I'm leaning toward the Powder Pro's at the moment.
