Mods!!!!
If you can get past the look (they look like an old Ekholm ski) - the MODS are the best ski I've ridden - whether it be on an S-chassis, ZX chassis, REV chassis, and of course the M-series. They do everything extremely well, trail manners are ok, and they are lighter then most aftermarket skis. I've not tried pp's, but I have run Simmons, USI, C&A, and Slydogs - the only one that was close to the MODS was the USI triple threats. However, if you tend to hit stuff a lot - you risk breaking the aluminum bridge (I've broken 1 bridge in 12 years of riding). If you use them, you will not be disappointed - they were designed by a fellow from Sicamous B.C., he sold his interest to a fellow down in the U.S. In canada they are available through Tracks Canada. Hope this helps.
