Which is the simple misconception I was trying to avoid. Yes I certainly do stick up for this company. They have been an exceptional vendor for us to work with. They are genuine people and true enthusiasts of this sport we all enjoy. I was buying their products before I had ever met any of them.
Despite a couple of unfortunate circumstances that just can't seem to be solved. No one ever considers the thousands of great experiences people have had.
That's why I get irritated with threads like this. On a forum, one bad experience automatically means every product they make must be awful and they don't stand behind anything. This is simply not true.
What most of the readers on hear aren't getting is simply both sides of all of these stories. And I'm not going to go into detail. No one on here is a bad person. I think some would be interested to hear the rest of the story behind some of these comments. Much of this is just simply taken out of context.
Much like my posts were. The written (typed) word can easily be misinterpreted. And again, I'm not trying to make enemies of anyone on here. We all love snowmobiling. We should all be able to share a beer together.
I'm not going to pick out any one of the above threads, but we have all been there.
The year was 2001 and I decided to buy a new Yamaha FZ1 for my birthday. That was may 10th. Buy the time they fixed all the warranty issues. It was late August. My summer was nothing but stress and disappointment. A motorcycle vacation I had planned had to be canceled. That's how a major manufacture deals with warranty issues.
