You can get the pre-cut triangle pieces to turn up from the Phazer for $11 a side and cut and bend in the stock traction grip. All that's left is fab a couple braces.

just traded emails with him...
am confident some of the grief about the visual is the starkness of the powdercoated parts on a natural aluminum tunnel...
I will post pics of the mod once it is on my sled...I have a LOT of black powdercoat, and it should blend in well..
OUCH...... Might have to hack away on the stock tunnel for free before i submit to that much $$. Black Diamond is coming out with theirs for $230ish soon.
yah, thats usually the issue.
seems like a lot for a bumper and a brace for the boards...when i still have to chop and cut it myself anyway.
oh well...if ppl pay it, it'll keep going that way. and ppl will pay it.
and yes, i know, sled mod industry may not be the biggest dollar industry...but...some guys are doing plenty fine. /shrug
i really don't think it looks bad, w/o the pcoating it'd look and fit the sled great imo.
its effective at doing what its made to do... so many ppl worry too much about how they look to everyone else...
