Skinz helium hood, electical load, durability, fitment, ect

So i had a branch go through my hood, big hole, so considering the skinz helium hood. Any of you that have it, how does it feel? Going to be durable for tree riding? Fitment good? Is the electical load issue still there like the pro rides had? Anyone with more pics?

Quality and filment is pretty bad on the one i got. Did send it back and im not getting another one.

Skins has successfully impressed most the sledding community, and in quick order turned into the worst ran and poorest quality product you can buy.

You can't form a opinion off one post. We have had very good luck with Skinz products.

I got a clue of what have happend. Skinz have been in deep **** with backorders and let some hoods through the quality control that didnt make it.
Thats why the hood i got was painted with some ****ty paint to cover some faults. And they just hope no one complaints.
Because ive heard that some hoods doesnt come painted and the fitment was "ok". Atleast better then mine.

But i wasent that impressed either with my skinz protube shorty boards fitment, so i guess the quality and fitment aint that good overall with their parts.

Again our group spends thousands of dollars with Skinz every year.... No problems. Boards, seats, front ends, Arc... You name it.

I don't do pics... The 3 hoods fit as good as stock.

Frankly no matter what the fit and finish..... I don't think they are real eye apealing. I would get a carbon one from FourWerx. They are building stuff for Burandt.

I don't own one, but was just looking at them yesterday. I like the idea of access through the hood, but the"integrated headlight delete" was a show-stopper for me. I need my headlights sometimes. Plus they are helpful spotting your buddies in the trees
