SKINZ AIRFRAMES ARE SOO SLOW TO DELIVER

As far as waiting until October to get the sled ready, well that's normal for the majority of sledders. There aren't alot of guys ordering stuff in July for their whiz bang sled that wont get used for 5 more months. But, October! Good old October! It's cold, it's football season, and it's snowed a time or two by now. That's when I start to get excited and ready to ride and that's when most people order stuff. Now then, asking a company like SKINZ to HAVE ONE SINGLE SET OF SIDE PANELS FOR A CURRENT MODEL SKIDOO ON HAND AT ALL TIMES doesnt seem unreasonable to me. That sled and part number ran for '08, '09, '10, '11. I tried to order my panels in October of '11 and got told "sorry we dont stock those and it will take a few months to make you a set". Am I missing something?

Everyone loves skinz because of their innovation and quality. Their product is in high demand and yet they turn out quality, albeit- a little slow.

However, they could just start pumping out product, but perhaps quality would suffer. Perhaps they would outsource some stuff to meet demand timely. I am not saying "x" amount of days is too long or satisfactory. However, quality items in high demand are going to be backordered and take extra time.

Yup, they should be faster. Everyone wants their stuff when they throw down their cash. I am thinking that is why I have to buy sh*t way more often. We do not want to wait, "GIVE IT TO ME NOW!" However, we also complain that sh*t falls apart way before it should.

Personally, I will wait for something that will provide for high quality, longevity amd push the market to improve.

And when you sell your sled..."Skinz AirFrames" will help add value where-as "Fat Freds Running Boards" will likely de-value your machine.

Skinz does make it very clear on there site to check with dealers first. OFT Racing does have 08-09 boards in stock and I know other dealers do too.
