Been waiting 2 plus months for the airframes to show up.... Now I'm feedup. I don't want to give my $$$ to a company that takes this long to deliver on their product. Does anyone know of that type of board I could go with instead of skinz, would like to stay with tube style. Any help would be great!! It's going on a 09 Nytro

The shop thats doing all the work has been trying to get them direct from skinz.

I complain about Skinz all the time. Awesome product but WAY to hard to get. The Yamaha boards are usually pretty easy to get but not direct. They sell through distribution mainly and their stuff is always backorder so as soon as they make it they go to someone. Hit up all the advertisers on Snowest, someone will have them. I bought mine about 2 months ago from I90 Motorsports in Issaquah WA, my local dealer. Airframes are the single best mod you can do to a sled, Im having mine installed on my Yamaha as we speak.

At this point I'm soo pissed off that I'd like to find a different company that makes a tube style board IF THERE IS ONE. Over 10G in upgrades and waiting on $500 boards. They even said they're shipping them a 1 1/2 weeks ago and now their not sure when they'll show up. Would rather give my $ to another company.

have you checked with skinz dealers..??..trax2treads etc..many times skinz supplies their dealers because skinz like concentrate on manufacturing to try and end their vicious cycly that they find themselves in...
if i was them i would tear out the phone lines... period...do what they do best and just supply their dealers...i think they are just trying to be so accomadating and trying to please everyone and then it just bites them in the arse..

Thank you Diamond S

A very big thank you to Scott Steven's @ Diamond S for shipping out a set of THEIR tube style boards so I can finish up my project.
Somebody else can have skinz airframes

I had a similar experience with Skinz two years ago. I ordered a pair of Airframe side panels for my XP directly from Skinz. Why directly from them? Because NOBODY stocked them. So, I ordered them and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Everybody came to "their" defense. "Give them time. They're great. Be patient. Why did you wait until October to order them" Blah blah blah. I will ever buy another Skinz product, period.

Sounds exactly like my deal with them. They should change their company motto to SKINZ: We get top dollar for our stuff but you'll need A$$ loads of patients waiting for us to deliver.

Checkout Van Amburg Enterprizes they make a nice set of Ultra Boards similar to Airframes without the need for screws.

I would love to own a company whose products are in such high demand that many on this site are mad at me.

No one would care if their stuff sucked balls now would they.

This happens every year, yet you all wait until the 11th hour to order & then holler when you're waiting. Hell, it's like watching "Ground Hogs Day"!

They told us it would be 1-2 months to get the boards, I was fine with that. The problem is when they said the boards are done and being shipped. When the boards didn't show up we called again & it was a whole different story of NOW they didn't have a ETA on them. It's not the time waiting I'm pissed about.... It's the LYING about shipping them!!

I've ordered two sets for customers this year... they've both showed up in less than 2 weeks.

Everyone knows Skinz is slow though, yet they wait till October or November to order them...:face-icon-small-win
