has anyone used these? im lookingat them for my 2010 m8. but im concerned that cutting all that material off will weaken the tunnel? any thoughts?

my uncle (grizzly7) has them on his 2010 nytro mtx 162. definitley didn't weaken the floorboards it made them stronger! No snow at all on those puppies, great grip, and looks sweet also.
