The '80's called. They want their pogosticks back.

Kind of neat sled, they should make it 3/4 scale so the younger riders have a sled when making next jump from the 120's. And price it around $3000-$3500, so dads can still afford them

Tundras have used struts for years, keeps the cost down and isn't that bad of a ride. It's a utility sled! what do you need a real sophisticated suspension for?

can't tell from the pic, but it's a tundra, does that have the 24" wide track?

The Tundra LT is 16x154 the Tundra and Tundra Sport are 16x137. The Skandic SWT is 24x156 and the Skandic WT is 20x156.

Make fun of struts BUT they do something that the sled is intended to do and thats go through powder better than any a-arm or trailing arm suspension. The only front suspension that has ever been the equal in powder was the old leaf springs. It will work awesome. One general downside to struts is extra stiction on the shafts. Also depending on how they are built they may be heavier than a arm.

The clear belly pan area provides the best flotation and clear flow of snow to the track.

Good Luck

I'm impressed. Much more practical than the freestyle based tundra IMO. I just showed it to my brother in Manitoba and he's ready to buy one. Would be interested to know what the weight is with the 550fan in it.

I just got a 550 Freestyle Backcountry for the wife. She loves it and sure has saved me a lot of digging her out compared to her SKS. I took it out last weekend and put on 50 mi. of pure boondocks and It does really good. It has a 136x15x1.25 track.
