ski-doo pilot skis on a 99 summit x ?

has anyone put these skis on a s-series chassis.Just purchased a set from my dealer and the mounting kit they sold me doesn't seem to have the proper spacers that go between the leg and the ski.Just wondering if i need to fab.a spacer or if anyone knows if one is avalible.Dealer seems to think i rec'd.the proper kit.

I put some off-set mountain skis off an '04 Rev on my '99 670 and all I had to do was just make a few spacers and they worked fine. The spacers were pieces of 3/4" plumbing pipe about an inch long. Dorky as I'll get out but it worked fine.

I did the same thing but I used 1" aluminum round stock with the proper sized hole drilled through the center. It's a pretty easy project.

I did the exact same thing on a 98 S-chassis. I echo what PJ said, just get some 1" round stock about 1/2" thick and drill a hole in the center. If you have the original skis, just knock the spacers out of them and use them (they are about 1" round by 1/2" thick), that's all I did. I was only able to use one of the spacers since the s-chassis ski saddle mount is wider than on the REV's. I just used one of the spacers on the outside to offset the ski to the outside (wider stance) and put a few washers on the inside. I had to cut the rubbers down a little to make them fit too.
