BAHAAHAAAHAAAAHHAAAAAA - OWNED!!!!!

The fun is only beginning...move on? We endured the pre-season boasting for months and now it's time to have some fun.

The XP lightened up–can you?

There ain't any, he's just fishing......maybe he got his azz handed to him by a new XP and this is his revenge.

Time to move on guys, the XP has a few problems, nothing that the other manufacturers haven't had. Yeah belts burnt, yeah driveshafts need to be welded. But let's stop beating a dead horse, the thing rips and it rips hard!

Its like posting in the Yamaha forum with a thread titled: "Apex weighs a ton - going back to my 1978 Arctic Cat 340 Panther becuz its lighter - air cooled with a 116" track, no suspension and 3.5 gallon fuel tank", yeah the Yammies are heavy compared to other sleds, THAT'S BEEN ESTABLISHED!!!!!!!!!! and you can overcome that problem, just like you can overcome the XP's flaws. Maybe this rental XP was a POS becuz the 60 guys that rode it b4 him thrashed the sh!t out of it? Just a thought....

c'mon man..........post it in fouled plug (a section designed for this crap) if you want to bash without ANY factual information. End of the day, the XP sets the new curve for snowmobiling (power and lightweight).

We've gone through about 100 threads exactly like this, it was funny the first 15 times, but honestly, the joke's over.....yawn.

02 mt cat 800................why not just invest in a good pair of snow shoes, they climb better, cost less, never break down and are easier to tow home.

xp

Was wondering why the polaris guys think the xp is a piece of crap? Its light ( ok alittle to light and folds up ) Has tons of power ( till the belt breaks ) or ( saws the cases in half when the crank fails) or ( blows the cheap drive shaft). HHHHHMMMMM Did you see the new polaris line up on the poo site. I think They are on to something.

Well let me tell you after having everything that could possibly break on my 05 900 rmk and I dont remeber having 2 rides where I didn't have to be towed in on the second ride , it sure feels good to be a DOO guy because after what Polaris put me through on that POS I don't Know if I can be normal again. I imagine it will take at least a couple of years of riding my 08 XP to make me trust a snowmachine again. And as for the problems that BRP is having I hope they address them and take care of there customers or they will be in the same situation that POO's in. And I had A choice between a D8 and XP and I think I made the right choice. just my 2 cents

why does everyone think thier sled is the best? Every XP owner thinks thier sled is the best, every Poo 900 owner thinks thiers is the best. Heck im an owner of a Poo 900, do i think its the best? NOT. Do i think an XP is better than my 900? No, but i think for the price i paid i got a heck of a better deal! Do i think there are better sleds than the XP and 900 Poo? Hell yes i do. One thing is for sure I would be very pissed off if i dropped 10k on a new XP and it had all these problems, just because your XP hasnt had any problems doesnt mean it never will. I think they are ticking time-bombs waiting to go off. It might be tomorrow or it might be next year, but they WILL fail. I myself am waiting for the crank on my 900 to fail. Im not worried though because i dont have much money into it and its completely paid for. I feel sorry for people who are making monthly payments on a ticking time-bomb. Maybe in a couple years i will get an 08 XP when they are dirt cheap from suffering the "900 Poo syndrome".

Not to hammer you or anything because I agree that 10K should get you something that is good to go.

I just find a lot of humor in hearing a 900 POO owner refer to other machines as a Ticking Time Bomb. That's a good one.

Sure they WILL fail as you say, but for the most part, they WILL fail no sooner than any other machine.
