Ski-Doo DESS reprograms, code clearing, ignition remaps

Can you re-program or flash an ECM? I've got an 07 Summit 800 with an intermitten problem that might be ECM related. I bought a used one off an 07 Summit 800 XRS and wondered if it's interchangable?

Should be interchangable except your key will have to be programmed to the new ecm.

I think we should be able to get you lined up but I don't want to give any gaurantees until I have our programmer in hand but if it is as simple as a DESS reprogram, then yes.

Can decipher the part #'s and codes on the back of the ECM from the pictures I posted?

07 summit and XRS have the same ecm. All you will need to do is reprogram the DESS. Did you check the pins on the connector for corrosion? A bad/intermittent connection there is more likley your problem.

I got a key with the ECM, I did check the pins and all look good, I used dielectric grease on them too. Haven't started it yet so hopefully it will work.
