Just confirmed my demo for Jan. 30th 9:00 Kachess, anybody else signed up yet this year to try 2013 XM? I did this last year, although it was raining and 40 degrees it was a good time. Hoping for better conditions this year, we're off to a good start, sign up, lets go tear it up, "ride it like a DEMO". :face-icon-small-win

:sorry: Conditions will only be good in the morning, by 1:00 o'clock it will be all tracked up.:face-icon-small-win

REMEMBER what happened LAST year!!!!!!!! Park Ranger

Ya, same thing happened last year, can't catch a break. We'll still have a good time, however I would like to see how the Xm handles in the powder, I already know how it does in "mashed taters". Oh well for the price I can't complain, better than being at work. :rain:

How do the rides at the demos work?

Is it a group setting with a leader or all out braaping and return when done?

Is it actually 4 hrs of riding?

Thanks for any info
Ryan

Last year we had six XM's, one 2012 163 XP which the guide rode, Ha,ha. He took us to a base area, then let us go off and demo. We met back there about 45 mins. later then moved on to another area, freeride for another hour. Then he found me and had me follow him through the trees, gullys, creekbeds, basically trying to get me stuck or lost, great time, the XM does stuff I can't do on my sled. We rode most of the 4 hours.

Smitty. if your going just to ride don't do it, unless you are ready to bag or barrow. (didnt say steal.) to get an xm. jummped off my 2012 x last year at demo ride, after 4 hrs got back on mine and well, really did'nt care if i rode the rest of 2012 season. lol. (i did another 500 miles. ) the xm is the best all around mt sled skidoo has come out with so far. i have been getting new doos for the last 15yrs. i know that we will be rideing 2013 at the demos but am looking forward to the 2014 x with it's expected updates, and who knows maybe a big surprise ......................................................!

Just got back from the Demo, thanks BRP. Ok, visibility sucked, snow was deep and about as wet as it could be and still be called snow :rain:, but the XM rocked. Untouched every were we went, of course who'd be riding in these conditions, although the sun came out as we came off the hill. Good, small group of guys to ride with (4) it was nice to see what the XM could do watching Smitty, Mike "the Man" Van Amberg, and Bob tear it up in some of the worst conditions our state has to offer. Rode the 163" most of the day, 154" at the end, 154" seemed to be a little more nimble, would like to ride it again in some real snow. :face-icon-small-sad It is going to suck having to go back to my sled.
