Ski Doo clutch question

I feel dumb asking this. I have an 06 Summit 800. Where the heck is the marking on the primary clutch backing plate thing to line up the clutch when I put it back on? It was easy to find on my ZX when I had it. This is the first time I have had the clutch off and I thought it would be easier to find it. I guess I should ask what does it look like. This is the last thing I have to do and I am set for Grand Mesa at the end of the week. Thanks.

Halfs are balanced separately, but the outer half does have markings for reassembleding after maint.

I got the 2 halves lined up. But I am wondering about the plate part on the inside of the belt. On my Renegade that was on the ZX chasis there was a mark on that plate part as to line up the 2 parts to the one part closest to the motor.

i always put a combination sqaure on mine and mark it with a sharpie, makes reassembly faster

I was not planning on taking whole thing off I was trying to just slide half of the clutch off. And by pulling the whole thing came off. I should have marked it with a sharpie or something. Dumb.

are you talking about the fixed half of the clutch? (i.e. the part that goes on first)... it is a small mark on the side facing the motor

Yes on the fixed inside piece facing closest to the motor by the gear looking thing. Just makes me mad that I did not mark it with a sharpie.

Getting very frustrated with something so simple. Thanks 907 but the videos have the clutches marked with a sharpie. I figured out the gear thing on the back of the inside part is for electric start. With the gear thing in the way hard to see back side.

Ok finally found what I have been looking for!!! But now I need to get the clutch off so I can get everything lined up. But clutch is not sliding off as easy as it did the first time. Imagine that. Any suggestions on loosening clutch? (Yes bolt is out, lol). Trying a rubber mallet but not working.
