Hit the skate creek area today, amazing conditions! 2-3 ft of heavy pow. Access is good to junction with high rock road. No problems turning around the trailer. Good weekend to get out!

Everybody should stay away from Skate Creek
The weather is always bad. Visibility always sucks and the snow is never good. Don't ever go there, ever.

I haven't been there for a few years but one of my best rides ever was there. We got off trail and only got back on to get back to the truck. I know what you mean though , its really not worth the drive or hassel. Roads are never plowed but a few times a year and always having to worry about bigfoot in that part of the country just isn't worth it is it!

So I'm taking my kids up For their first ride is there any open areas at Skate Creek For them. It's a lot closer than Saint Helens From where we live in Graham. Any help would be great If you don't wanna post it please pm. me. Thanks a bunch

Speedy, in all honesty it probably isn't the best place for first timers. I love riding there and try to ride there every chance I get. However, there is very little grooming and not many flat open meadows. Orr creek might be better for trail rides.
