I see a lot of people gripe about XM audio quality in their vehicles on another forum I'm on (f150forum.com). Some guys have dropped the service because of it. Sure, I've noticed it, but I like having the variety over the same local stations I hear at work all day long.
Lawrence Welk not coming in so good?
My new car came with Sirius free for six months. I can't say I noticed a difference but I did not renew it. It's not worth it to me anyway. I use the stock radio, my iPhone, Pandora, and iHeart radio. All free. Another thing I do which is not free is I download Car Talk and listen to them on long trips. $.02
Yeah the factory radios with factory tunes seem to sound much better than an aftermarket. My wife has it in her Land Rover and it sounds as good as any. The aftermarket tuner in my truck is meh.
Crazy Mafesto. I can't believe that the quality is worse than your FM. We live in AK and there isn't **** for radio stations. Which is why I love my Sirius. I too am curious though how many others are having similar issues with the factory tuner.
Not to blow your theory, but mine is the factory ford /Sony receiver.
Those who echoed my dissatisfaction, do you have factory installed or aftermarket?
