But can you shut your tail gate with those decks when your not using it or do you have to remove it?

My sled doesn't fit between my rangers wheel wells either and trailers are a pain, especially since I take my sled to work and go riding afterwards.

I just take my tailgate off for a few months.....that way no stress or rock chips on it. But you could leave the gate on if you wanted. The deck comes out very easily with 2 people, or with just you and a sawhorse.

Here is mine. It is called a So-low Deck, it works very well for me. It takes less than 45 seconds to load and secure with the superclamp, included with each deck.
There is some information at http://www.so-lowdeck.com/Default.asp and i think you can order them there as well. They are a little bit of an investment, but very well worth it when you compare it to the competition.

i just was searching for a single deck and just bought a full lotus mfg quicky sled loader. better than a deck imo. lighter, takes 5 min to remove/install, supports the entire track and no ramps to F#*k around with. http://flmmetals.com/flm_quicky.html

I have a new single Full Lotus for sale if any one needs one. I run one and have a winch hooked to it so you can pull a dead sled up it by your self. Works great!! Can get it to the southern big horns if you need it. You can also look at mine to see what i did to it.

here is my full lotus quicky loader. great idea but i had to do a bit or work to it before i could successfully load a sled on it. Now that it works, its works quite well, ramp deck all in one and can be removed/installed in 5 min with no tools

I have build a few of these. Great for small trucks. Especially 1/2 tons just cause there a bit wider in between the wheel wells and you can get them low.
