SINGLE PLACE SLED DECK FOR A TACOMA / COMPACT TRUCK ???

Silver Lake Manufacturing (Motomikey, Mike Kinzer, 208-623-6601) makes sled decks that collapse to one-sled width and can be widened to hold 2. (in 5 seconds with slide outs. . .) I use mine in the one-sled position most of the time. Can still go through a carwash with it on!!! Telescoping ramp, Very nice!

Although.... No idea if Mike makes them for a little truck :D:D:eek::eek:

sky hi industries makes 1 place sled decks for toyota,s there in B.C. Jet chevrolet in federal way, Washington had one they were trying to get rid of.

heck if you can't find one you can build one real easy in about 1 to 2 hours.

AlFab Manufacturing in Nelson BC makes nice ones, and the 05+ Tacoma is a VERY popular truck here, so I'm sure he's done some before.

Dan at Jet Chevrolet had this one a year ago...

Made by Sky HI

Made especially for a T-100

I think BullDog is making a single place... in the bed roller deck??

Might fit a Taco..

I made one for my Ford Ranger last winter that worked really well. It slides into the reciever hitch and goes up at 90 degrees to bottom of bed elevation (it sits inside the bed and yes tailgate removal is necessary). I then welded a piece of round stock the width of my ramp 48" to the top of my square tubbing to serve as a hinge, I found some round stock that would just slide over the top of the hinge round stock and welded sections of it to my ramp. The ramp was simple to build I made it 12' long and 48" wide and bolted garage door vinyl trim to it for ski runners. I got a lot of funny looks last winter but it works extremly well, I can post pics if anybody want to see it.

as pancake mentioned racers edge makes a slick deck, thanks to lance's attention to detail. have one set up in the showroom, 50" wide by 102" long, most guys leave tailgate off, and it held in by the turnbuckles, ramp is on rollers and locks in. retails for $2195cdn. if anyone interested just call 403-938-0930.

pics would be greattttt

I will try to take some pic's tonight, I never did take any of it last winter. The total cost for me to build it was $200 and it weigh's just under 200 lbs. If a guy knew a good aluminum welder you could build the ramp out of aluminum and get the weight down quite a bit but it would probably cost a lot more too.
