i rode yesterday with ashbrook and danny out of tamarack. super icy in the morning...better around noon. we hit mt. nelson and i got my sled dialed in sweet. i bumped it to 15lbs of boost which got the revs up where they should have been. too much primary weight for 12 lbs. running straight race gas now too...not crazy about that. might do a head shim this summer so i can run mix or pump gas.

we shot some pretty good lines on some huge stuff...MAN i can't believe i waited this long to get a turbo. i actually got some good shots of sean for the movie and he didn't break anything or crash! LOL!

i think i'm done for the year...it was a great season and i really enjoyed meeting/riding with a bunch of great people this year.

time to start editing.

Did you get a chance to ride Dan Bush's nytro? I'm glad you got yours dialed in. It didn't feel like it had enough when I rode it. Dan's was amazing...it would be a toss up between it and Clint's. The great part about Dan's, he is running pump gas....although I am pretty sure he is running a shim.
Next year should be amazing. I think there will be a lot of turbo's. As Clint told me on the last ride..."the bad part of owning a turbo, is the fact that your sled will climb anything, but will you??"

I here there was a nice water crossing last week? Glad to hear it went well.

What is the snow like at Tamarack off HWY80? Did you unload at the snopark or the lodge?

New guy from UCLA wants to try out vintage sled he just put together here in Los Angeles.

Boondocked all day from yuba pass to Jackson Res. Saturday. Still plenty of snow for a few weeks if it stays cool.

hey don...the tamarack we staged from was on 168 above shaver lake. snow was beat to crap.

jason...yeah, i rode dan's nytro which is exactly when i realized how mine wasn't doing what it should.

my clutch weights we're set up to run 15lbs of boost i found out. i can't believe the difference between 12 and 15! its freakishly fun.

btw...got the disc in the mail...i'll start playing with it this week.

Just talked to these guys from UCLA thru email / phone. Some kind of project sled. They sent an email last night, rented a white diesel commercial van big enough to hold the sled and were leaving late last night and were gonna nap before getting to Tamarack.

Wish I could have gone. Too short notice

i think the replacement for leroy should be the poo 800 with a areo 66 turbo... rode one Saturday for almost 40 miles... good night... that sled was fun, wicked fast, and pulled like a freight train... wowsers

Went out last weekend and the snow is sure going fast around here. If you cant find anyone to head over, I'm about 90% sure I can take the time off work to go.

mt adams sounds sweet but i have to work over the weekend AGAIN! last week , it was for oprah, this week its PG&E. don't these big shots know there is still snow on the ground??!!

i was looking at going on may 9 - 11 but now i have to be in SF for the Emmy Awards. i actually got nominated for a promo i did (i've been doing this for 23 years now and its my 2nd nomination so i gotta go even though i don't expect to win.)

i think oberti said he was gonna ride over to UT with billyjack...that should be a fun ride.

AO said they still have room for more...

i could still head out there late may but the snow would have to be pretty good for me to make the trip.

btw...i've been doing a TON of editing on ELEVATION 4...you guys are in for one heckuva flick this year thanks to the incredible riding by everyone who contributed this season. if you can make it to the Team Summit E4 premier this year...its going to be, dare i say...EPIC!
