Silber Dobek to boondocker control box

Turbo

The sled in question is not my sled, it's a buddy of mine. When it snows I'd b happy to video it. Sorry
The new kit and controller from Silber does run much better

Boost it box

You guys should give Bryce a call at Turbo Performance. He has the boost-it box and it works!! You just plug it in and go. It has a waterproof cover just like the GoPro camera! Bryce will get back with you and help with any issues. I have never dealt with a guy more honest and knowledgeable. Bryce also has the Vipec1, once that is prefected it will be the only controller on the market. The turbo preformance kit has many more options that make it problem free. If you have dealt with a turbo before you can look at all the kits and see the difference. His intakes and how they are bolted together is one of many options. Give Bryce a call it will be the best thing you ever did.:face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-ton Turbo Performance's numbers are 801-725-1391 or 801-807-8046.

I'm going with the boost-it controller as well this year. I was going to just upgrade my Silber set up to the 2013 specs but Justin said I would get the upgrade kit till end Dec as he had to fill all of the full kits first. I have everything installed but just waiting for my a-w converted air box. (Thurs....hopefully). We'll see on the weekend how well it works.

So the Boost-it box is just like Boondockers Ebc?

how many of you guys have tried to new fuel controller from silber? does it actually work properly and can you cruise with it whitout it leaning out a whole pile?

Boost it box

The boost it box works, it keep the fuel ratio right threw all the rpms you can adjust at any level! once its set your golden! May have to change on boost a little cause of air temp. Spring riding to December January rides! It works!:face-icon-small-ton

It is different. The boost-it box doesn't have a Electronic Boost Control. But I had the Doebeck box last season on my silber and while it ran good, I would run into issues on condensation build up in the box so it wouldn't reference boost sometimes after sitting in a garage overnight from a ride. I went with a boost-it box at the end of the season and could only get one partial ride on it because my AFR probe went bad so I didn't want to risk burning it up. But I will say the throttle response was awesome, it is such a simple box to adjust. No more having to stare at different light colors to see what "mode" the fuel controller is in to dial in. Neil sends them out setup, you really only have to adjust the main fuel and the threshold from going trail riding to powder riding. And I like the ability to adjust at 400 rpm intervals its like giving you the option to fine tune it like a laptop but without packing one around. I never had to adjust those intervals though because Neil already had it good to go.

To me it just flat works. That is the one thing I never liked about Doebeck boxes and BD boxes is there are always color related modes, and you have to sit there and remember what color does what to achieve what you want.

There actually is a electronic boost control function in the boost-it system. It works like the first gen bd ebc in that it runs off of a duty cycle of the boost control solenoid instead of a set boost. It also doesn't auto adjust to changes in barometric pressure.

I should have said that going with the boost-it box Neil doesn't set it up for a EBC, you would have to go buy the solenoid, etc.

I believe he is utilizing it in his turbo kit though.

He sells it all as a $200 upgrade. He ran it all last year on his sled.

I can't wait to get it in the snow with the boost-it! I keep hearing good reports, just getting me more excited for the first ride.

Here is a vid of Scoots playing around on his assault with HM kit. This vid demonstrates how you can hold a turbo 2 stroke at part throttle with our fuel system installed, and pretty good chance he is not looking at his gauge. lol
The sled sounds a bit rich right on the bottom, but this is before we were able to stick the factory TMap directly in the airbox so it could read intake air temp and the intake on the HM turbo in this case was pulling air from directly under the hood on a day when there was a couple feet of fresh.
I'm confident that this seasons setup will run even better.
There have been some customers out riding, and none of them have even touched the fuel control box except to adjust the boost.
