BTW I don't have a Silber turbo... I have a Garrett turbo.. I do still have some Silber junk that I will be getting rid of this off season. How about I just package it up and mail it to u, u seem to like garbage so I will just give it to u. [/B]

I will gladly take it off your hands!

EHHHHH be noice

Why you give me bad rep jeeping? I wasn't calling you names (butthole) or anything of that nature. Its true you tried to start a bash thread and it back fired. Sorry you never had luck with your kit and your bitter but come on the last bad rep was from FredW and that was a while ago because him and his alter have their nose in the corner lol I dont care what kit but there will always be unhappy people for one reason or another, its unfortunate you are one of them. Have a brew its friday night im on my third.:beer;

If I was considering purchasing a Silber turbo this thread would be the biggest red flag in the world!!!! To those who are reading it to make a purchase decision take note in how jeepin270 was treated for sharing his experience. Moral of the story if you say anything negative about a Silber this crew is going to beat you into submission. So if they treat Jeepin like this how many other people will just keep their mouths shut rather than post their negative experience.
Also take note that many of them are the same posters who took/take every possible opportunity to bash a Boondocker turbo while at the same time bashing a Silber customer that shares a negative story. Why are these guys so emotionally involved that they come after a guy like this??
Many of them claim to have knowledge of Jeepins issue so they must be close enough to Justin to get details. If they are close enough to get details and emotionally involved enough to make these posts, do you really want to listen to them???
SLDHVN is so close to the situation he even has the statistics to back up his views. He actually tracks Silbers customer feedback closely enough that he know that 95% of the customer feedback is positive. Either that or he pulled that statistic out of his a$$ which indicates he knows nothing about which he speaks and even less about statistics and how they work. I'd be careful buying or believing anything from someone that makes those claims.
I'd say if anyone is an expert on how a butthole acts its a few of the guys that were so quick to call Jeepin one. I'd listen to them for sure!
TurboMatt, it takes ballz to get on here in the midst of the crappy way Jeepin was being treated for his post, and to share your experience. You have my respect!
To the rest of you who were human beings on this thread, my apologies, I hope I have not offended any of you.
....So I guess this is the part where I get flamed and jumped on. Let's get to it.

To be fare. Jeepin270s post was a thread designed to share his experience and others. He didn't bash anyone, in fact he was balanced in his approach. The "bashing" that happened was other people bashing him!!!

Why would this be the biggest red flag in the world? A bunch of us stated we had good running kits and our experience with Justin has been great.

Jeepin made the thread and asked people to post their service experience which I know I did. Now jeepin has made it aparant in multiple posts in different threads he doesn't like his kit or customer service and in one post says he tore the stuff off and in another said he is still running silbers turbo. So what do you believe? I am not saying Jeepin had a bad experience and it is unfortunate that he did. But there are a lot of silber kits out there and most have had a good experience with Justin or one of his dealers.

I am not going to knock other brands but can guarantee you if i bought a boondocker kit I would have had no one to talk to at 8pm on a Sat night when I did my install. That is if i ordered through them directly not through carls or code red, etc. This is just an example of why I went silber and do think boondocker has a great kit so not knocking them at all. I went for customer service like I did with Paul at impulse when i had my apex and so far Justin and his dealers are great.

...QUOTE]

im not here to argue, i am only posting what I have seen.

Bottom line is, Silber has a pretty damn good reputation(i dont own a silber kit, nor have i even seen one).

But i do know the vast majority of his customer threads have been positive.

I am sorry you feel like you know everything. I have a BD kit, and love it, next choice was silber, i bet i would love it too.

Just saying what i saw, the same as anyone else.

Well I know Silber Owns/ or is Partners in a huge Dock and lift installation Business in northern Minnesota. I have talked to him many times and he claims they have close to 400 accounts that they manage in the spring and fall.

I live in minnesota and all of the ice has been off of our lakes for around 1 week, Iam sure him and his crew are working like dogs. I know a few guys around my area that do the same work and they work hard and long while they can.

If Silber is missing calls or emails its because of this. Keep trying and you will get to him. Or email him multiple times.

I have had luck texting him also.

Hats off to Silber for doing as good as he can, If anyone has spent anytime with him, you would be amazed on how helpful and nice he and his guys are.

I called him twice on thursday night. the second time he answered as he always does and answered my questions as best he could. Can't get better support. I do think that he continues to try and improve his fueling system. He is a regular rider and cares that our systems work. Not sure why he doesn't answer others calls but I am sure glad he answers mine!!!!!

Jeepin has every right to post his feelings and experience..and you are correct, they are on the payroll....

TMZ to the rescue..

???? I'm a Lawyer !@ 95% of the ALLOWED TO POST FEEDBACK..get your facts straight.. its the same on the RZR site,, any bad experience is deleted and the poster is banned after the 2nd negative thread against a paid advertiser.. censorship

Alot of the area he works in for his dock service has no cellular coverage. All kit builders are going to have people that stand behind them because of their great products and as well there will always be a few that have unhappy customers. I am in the service business and I have customers that call me that I can never make them happy no matter what, if I fix all of their issues then they bitch about the bill and how I rob them. So when they call I am there to help even though I know they will bitch about something. Treat people how you would like to be treated and you'll be suprised how great your life will be. Treat people bad and stab them in the back and you'll get yours as well as shown in this thread.

He asked for experience with Justin's service and I gave that. I have had issues with the control box, between Justin and Boston Racing things got taken care of crazy quick. Cory met me at the shop on a Saturday and Sunday night. I assure you no one is paying me to say this, in fact I paid Justin as did everyone else saying good things I think... And is Justin even a paid advertiser? It looks like he has the same status as I do, just premium but I could be wrong. Pretty sure I bashed no one as well. And Jeepin has had more than 2 negative threads but he is still around!

Jeepin, You are asking for parts to a kit he doesn't even produce anymore. If you have a problem send me a PM and I will see what I can do. If your goal is to "vent" and not fix your issues don't bother.

If folks have problems with a Silber kit send me a PM and I will try and help.

Enough of the B.S.
Has anyone ever wondered why people that buy certain kits rarely post about problems? I find it funny that most of the people bashing me are the same ones who are asking about clutching and plan on changing fuel controllers. Didn't a fuel controller and a clutch kit come when u purchased your kits?
This is a quote, I have no experiance with OVS but I read this on there website. "OVS has over 30yrs. experiance this ensures that the customer is getting the best knowledge in the industry. Other kit manufactures have 5yrs exp. in the industry. This is what creates customer dissatisfaction after purchasing a kit and it doesn't perform. Then customer is stuck with product and it ruins there outlook on turboed sleds. If they would've purchased a quality product that has yrs. of tuning exp. behind each turbo kit they would enjoy each heart throbbing second that they pull the trigger on there turboed sled."

Use the search function and look at other brands that have had problems with turbo kits ALL companies have had issues big or small. That is a nice quote from OVS but considering the efi turbo market for 2 strokes has only been around the past 5 years doesn't mean s*** that they have been in business selling sleds for 30 years. Look at the 4 stroke market boondocker has been around one of the longest and you don't see hardly any yammis running 4 strokes anymore you see companies that have entered the market later.

And you can knock me all you want but I am happy with my kit and Justin has been willing to replace my box but I personally have opted to go to Boost it. Not because my sled didn't ran good, because it ran like a raped ape. But I wanted more tuneability on the hill, instead of 5 settings on the dobeck I'll have 30+ fuel settings I can tune in for MY liking.

If there were these companies that have been around with no issues why did you buy a Silber kit to begin with??? Especially on a dragon Justin was just in the market then but to bash someone for YOUR choice of kit is a little sad.

And if you blame people wanting to change the controller box you do realize that the dobeck box is on: OVS, HM, Turbo Performance (unless you opt for boost it or vipec). Its was also used by Impulse prior to standalone, used by Alpine, etc. And as for clutching Justin's is great and was spot on for me. Some guys just like different feel for their clutches which is why they make adjustable weights, different springs, etc.
