Silber 2013 Kits.....

Your right. I have never ridden a brad story turbo, ya forgot to mention the mc express, that's the most insane turbod sled I've ever rode. I'm not bashing anybody here. Just saying Silber has a sweet looking set up an I orders one. This thread was for Silber turbos. Since ya don't like em. Don't look At this thread no more.

What you said was;
"Looked @ the silber turbo for the 1st time @ the denver show.AWSOME. That kit is top notch. Ive ran all the other brands, but hands down. This is the most impressive, looking setup out there... Cant wait to pick up the new sled, wont be long"

I guess when you tell everyone you've "ran all the other brands" I'd like to think you actually RODE all the other brands. That would put you in a great place to educate the rest of us on each kit. Unless it's a wildly exaggerated story designed to sell Silber turboes, then it would just be a pretty sad attempt to brainwash people. I know you didn't ride (on a pro) a Turbo Doc, a Brad Story, and I'm pretty sure on OVS and Twisted since I was able to spend some time with each of these guys/kits last year and BD too. It's not easy to get out on 4 or 5 different kits let alone "all the other kits" out there.

Didn't say I didn't like Silber turboes, ever! As far as me not looking at this thread, I find that hilarious since pretty much every thread one here when some one asks a question about a BD or HM, members of the Silber marketing cult jump in and start bashing competitor kits and promoting Silber's. Maybe they shouldn't be reading those threads??

You can't pull up one example of me bashing on this thread and you'd be hard pressed to find any thread in this forum where I did. I haven't said anything bad about a Silber. Scuba Steve posted a pretty unbelievable claim, "that he'd ridden "all the other brands", I simply asked him to back it up. Most of us know it's bull $hit, but some people don't.

I guess the "Silber Marketing CULT" will have to excuse me for actually doing a fact check on one of it's members claims. I think people deserve the truth. In this case something even remotely close to the truth would be nice.

I fully expected the CULT to respond this way. Attack me for asking the question instead of the poster for exaggerating the truth. That's pretty much the M.O., attack anyone not drinking the kool aid or anyone posting a negative Silber story. I fully expect I'll hear more.

truth is mine ran/runs great! Was bolt on and ride ! so whats you problem ? Im not a cult member as you call it I'm a SATISFIED CUSTOMER . never met silber or any of the peolple in his shop results made me part of the fan club.

personally I am sick of you negative attitude. If you have nothing constructive to add then please zip it and take it somwhere else.

I don't have a problem with Silber, i didn't bash Silber. I guess if I have a problem it's with Blatant dishonesty, deception and trying to control public opinion. I seem to find that a lot with the Silber related threads so I speak up.

In all fairness though, I don't find this to be the case with Justin himself. I usually find when he logs on and posts its with relevant fair information. He usually discourages the bashing and shows gratitude for his supporters. Probably the same character that earned him such a great reputation to begin with. When I read his posts I find myself thinking, "I really need to give his stuff a try". However, when I read the posts by the SMC (Silber Marketing Cult) that typically bash BD, hijack threads and make blatantly dishonest claims I start feeling like someone should speak up. And I do!

When I read that post I consider it a figure of speech. It's impossible to run all brands because even Joe blow may make a turbo kit to sale to a couple buddies and call it a kit. I am happy with my Silber, did I work out some bugs yes, but in the end I like knowing I have a couple thousand sitting in my wallet by going the route I did. There is no best kit, all have plus and minus, and for me the steep and deep isn't all I ride so a mild boosted pro suites me great.

As for using hm viper and boost it hard to make those comparisons when those kits weren't available to the public last season. Even the boost it is not open to all public only to those that can get it installed.

And the fact that you posted a comment and waited then said oh you're not going to answer just shows you want to stir the pot. Anyone spending the cash on a turbo kit will do their research and I don't know of anyone that would believe a claim to ride every brand there is.

I posted and left it, I wasn't waiting on anything. I only posted my second post after he bad reped me days later for my original. Seemed strange to me to bad rep me instead of coming clean or clearing up the exaggeration.

But your right, no one has ridden them all. Its not realistic. I keep hoping to hear from someone that's ridden the major players though. Silber, BD, Boost It, HM (with and without the vipec), Twisted, OVS, etc. It would be nice for some good non biased reviews. I've been out on many of them but no Silber yet, so I can't comment on his stuff.

Glad your happy with your Silber.

Surprise!! One of the cult members making fun of me. Lol!

Cult member??? I was just trying to get the thread back on topic...Pr!ck!! I have done nothing on here other than give my HONEST experience. I have simply posted my experience with silber, nothing more, nothing less. I had a hard time with BD, and Justin was great help. I don't know what else to tell you, other than ...........

Yeah...I'm kinda getting sick of every opinion that states Silber makes a good product being a rediculous statement by the Silber fan club or cult. It's kinda rediculous. There's lots of good running turbo kits out there, Justin has a very affordable, good running kit that he gave a heck of a deal to snowesters on. If you don't fell the opinions of owners are valid then take them with a grain of salt and move on. I love to hear different opinions, but there's no point in bashing someone else's opinion.

i ran in march last year(within one day) in cooke city while we were finishing elevation compensation(hm turbo) on our ECU: silber,BD,HM(with and without vi-pec ecu), push turbo(tbbt tial kit on a pro climb) and all were ok....of course my own sled was the best running sled with hm turbo on it:bounce:(joking....well not!!)
was pretty surprise at the BD sled i ran(from a guy watching us climbing for an hour), the sled had a bit of hesitation but by far the best running after our sleds with the ECU installed(please guys don't start ****, it is just my opinion for what it is worth and i am answering the original question). i found push's cat had a very linear powerband compared to all others, didn't feel the arm stretching boost coming but could definately feel the power , again very linear(tbbt). all sleds(except BD) was sloppy on the bottom end -mid, all were going fine WOT but very messy on transition from bottom to mid range. Bd sled was pretty decent and if i had to choose one after my sled on that particular day, it would have been the BD setup. the silber sled was farthing and popping due to a bad dobeck controller(the guy said) wich i have experienced more then once on my hm Dragon 2009! . there is no bad setup, some requiere more maintenance, some need re-engineering, some need better customer service, so they all have their issues.

Guess I was wrong about that. Pretty cool you were able to run all those brands so close together. You said you were running the HM turbo and which controller or ecu?? Any plans this year to have the same kinda day or event?? I'd love to come and see all these run together!!

Cmon Guys. The $3995 deal is winding down...Now's the time. Dont miss your opportunity to join the Silber Marketing Cult:yo:

We appreciate all the feedback we get from Snowest. Happy customers are the best form of marketing.

That's half the price of some of the other kits. With Boston's tech support, if I was in the market I would probably buy another silber turbo.

Push turbo sell his g-kit ( uses same turbo as silber ) with ECU at 4999$ and without ECU at 3495$ all year long , not on an early bird purchase....i have to agree those two are by far the lowest on the market.

And on a side note to that; I love the tial set up, but these little Chinese turbos are sweet! They run great, and when I ran some ring through mine a new center section was about a third of what a Garrett center section costs.

Yes Kits are shipping. If I have called you for payment your kits should be shipping soon or already shipped. Once they start flowing it will all happen very quickly.

Right on that is good to hear!! Must have the controller dialed
