Silber 2013 Kits.....

having seen the new ones and having a 2012 kit I speculate that the update parts will be .....

New intake and charge tubes
secondary tmap sensor
new controller
the new billet secondary injector body

The billet throttle body boots will be still be able to be used but you want to plug the injector holes. IMO if you have an older kit you woud be crazy to go back to the stock boots . they havent had any trouble but if you already have the parts to eliminate that possibility why wouldnt you ?

As I this is mostly speculation on my part. and as has been posted the update parts will NOT be available until the 13 kit orders have been filled .

We are making Dummy plugs for the injectors holes. We wont be able to start the update kit planning until the snowcheck have been delivered.

Almost every snowcheck person that has called recently has upgraded to the billet boot. The number of billet boots is limited so if you want one give me a call. We didnt have boot problems with the stockers but the billet sure has a peace of mind advantage. I wonder how much boost it would take to blow a billet boot

I run Klotz in the motor and Mobil1 0w30 in the turbo. I think all the oils are good these days. Klotz smells good

I'd never buy a turbo based how how it "looks". I mean maybe if I planned on looking at it but not riding it.
Seat time matters much more to me since I'm buying one for performance not for looks.

You say you ran all the other brands but not a Silber???? That seems strange that you'd run "ALL, the other brands" and then buy a Silber your just seeing for the first time. What was wrong with the Boost It you ran? How about the HM with the Vipec? Brad Story, Turbo Doc, OVS???

If a turbo builder is taking the time to make his kit fit and finish perfect, I think he will have it run well also. I have done my research and this kit is by far the best bang for the buck.

Looked @ the silber turbo for the 1st time @ the denver show.AWSOME. That kit is top notch. Ive ran all the other brands, but hands down. This is the most impressive, looking setup out there... Cant wait to pick up the new sled, wont be long

Your right. I have never ridden a brad story turbo, ya forgot to mention the mc express, that's the most insane turbod sled I've ever rode. I'm not bashing anybody here. Just saying Silber has a sweet looking set up an I orders one. This thread was for Silber turbos. Since ya don't like em. Don't look At this thread no more.

Scuba Steve posted a pretty unbelievable claim, "that he'd ridden "all the other brands", I simply asked him to back it up. Most of us know it's bull $hit, but some people don't.

I guess the "Silber Marketing CULT" will have to excuse me for actually doing a fact check on one of it's members claims. I think people deserve the truth. In this case something even remotely close to the truth would be nice.

I fully expected the CULT to respond this way. Attack me for asking the question instead of the poster for exaggerating the truth. That's pretty much the M.O., attack anyone not drinking the kool aid or anyone posting a negative Silber story. I fully expect I'll hear more.
