Side Panel Material

I'm gonna repair a crack on my side panel but the area where the symbol is located was cut out when I installed my vents. Can someone take a look or take a picture of the rectangular box at the bottom of the inside of the panel and tell me what material the panel is made of??? It is probably in a square box with a PP or a symbol similar to it at the end of the text.

Thanks,

Ditch

i also have to fix a crack in my side panel, the part up by the bumper, not to sure how to keep it from propagating, thinking drill a hole to relieve stress in the fracture, then attempted to glue and touch up with paint after. any thoughts?

Find a plastic store that has a plastic welder and get it welded. Mine cracked the first year I had my sled. My buddy owns a plastics store; he welded a crack up front and a 6" crack on the side. The cracks never moved again....

Plastic welding should be your best bet. I've seen plastic weld equipment from Harbor Freight and should work ok for occasional home time use.

Good download on plastic repair https://www.urethanesupply.com/_pdf/thebook.pdf

If you can't find a plastic welder or equipment to DIY, then another option below:

Stop drill it and use this adhesive product after using an adhesion promoter

Good luck! Has similar issue on interior plastic on a vehicle.
