thanks for the info
little info about mine, this last week i compared my BB to a stock xp and found my plugs to be much darker or richer than the stocker, i also know that a 10tho shim rasing my needles will make my motor bogg a bit before it cleans up
my sled felt good this last week but i think i can maybe drop the mains from 510-490 to say 490-470, add increase the pilots one sise for a bit more fuel threw the entire range or maybe check my air.fuel screw now that i know how to adjust it... any idea what it should be set from factory at??
i should have gauges installed once the probe holders come for it

in, as leaner out is richer.
its like opening a valve in a pipe that controls water flow. opening it more makes the water come out faster. closing it slows it.
change by 1/2 turns. and 1 turn is a complete turn, i put a black mark on the slots so i can see easily where i started... i typically reset each time i adjust to see where i'm at. by that i mean i turn them all they way IN..then turn them back out. this way you know exactly where your at each time, and aren't guessing at hmm was i starting from 2 turns out...now i think i'm at 1.5 turns...
i TRY to also document where my current setup is at all times. if your good at doing that, then you dont have to do the 'reset' trick each time.
hope that makes some sense?
from my own personal experiance fuel screw effects from idle to 1/3 or so throttle..it definately seems to effect the mid range a bit more than I first assumed. adjust it slowly and see if you feel/hear (or read plugs) a difference. 1/2 turns usually will give a result.
