Amen to that^^^^^. Spent good money on PPG paint for mine, just got scratched like the $5 Tremclad job anyway. If I could do it over, I would have just spent the money on a lightweight one instead, cuz now I'm building a mesh hood anyway. Just my $0.02.

Don't have any good ones on the snow.....was too busy riding! :D And it still gets ridden through the trees.....same as it did before. Just use a lot of Mothers Carnuba Wax now. :face-icon-small-sho :face-icon-small-blu :)

For custom paint I think getting a clear hood to start is the best way to go. Just paint the inside of the hood.

This is a Mt. Fit clear hood, with chrome backed with black. Sled will look miles better if I ever score black plastic for it.
