The paint is Alclad 2. It's actual chrome that is meant for models and RC cars. When I ordered 8 bottles the hobby store guy looked concerned. The black backing it in certain spots makes for a black chrome look. A buddy did one years ago that came out more "chrome" like, but he backed his with a silver aluminum.
After I painted it I wanted to name the sled "Destro"
Anyhow, painting custom jobs on the inside of clear hoods really helps to keep the paint looking nice for a long time.
