Shovel mounts?

I have these clips that would probably work nice, look at the pic of the bag with the shovel mounted to get a better idea how they work

The clips in your pic are probably the most economical.

I'd like to mount my shovel on my tunnel with some easy quick rubber hold downs. Anyone have any ideas?

I just bunged mine and never lost a shovel.

your shovel should always always be in your pack and not on the bike, if you only have one. I don't see any reason to have two shovels. if you are using a shovel that much you are doing it wrong.

Nice first post!

I also carry two shovels. One in my avy pack and one on the back of my bike. I built this mount and it works pretty good. I like have my shovel assembled ready to go.

Multiple pictures and everything. Welcome.

tunnel shuval'

I have a shovel on the frame work of my TS, handle back, shovel over the brake, I welded a 5/16" stud to a 1/4 section cut of pipe that hose clamps to my TS frame, hole drilled in shovel with wing nut and pin. Quick and solid, been there for awhile, and I use it.

same dilemma the last 40 years on the sleds, we used to keep a huge aluminum scoop shovel screwed to the hood to make uphill switchbacks to get into the back country, was hard on our 340 yamaha hoods but more fiberglass patch's ...........goood to go.

Hmmm

Ya ever look at your buddy, and say,,,,, We probably shouldn't drop in there!
He just says,,,,,,, Yeah...... then he just nonchalantly follows you into the DEPTHS OF HELL!!!!

well,,,,, I guess it's just our twisted version of fun, but I just love a good challenge....... and, NO,, one shovel sometimes isn't enough!!

Nice Blue zippies......

Whoa what's that? Some kind of dual ski snowbike?! Is that like training skis? ;) jk. Yeah I've been using bungee but the movement of the shovel is really messing up my paint on the track kit.

Don't be poking fun at my old school bus :face-icon-small-hap

I helped work on this project with my buddy Mark Leipheimer.
